As the coronavirus situation continues to evolve and the recent tragic events affecting the African American community in the US resonate around the world, our CEO Erik Fyrwald and Chief Human Resources Officer Laure Roberts sent a message to Syngenta employees about our commitment to fostering a culture without discrimination of any kind. This is further underscored as we celebrate Pride Month and champion greater inclusion within our company and beyond.

We are proud of how Syngenta as a company cares deeply about the physical and emotional health of all our employees, their families and the people in our communities. Our stated mission is to help farmers feed the world and take care of our planet – but at its heart, our company is all about caring for people.
Our collective response to Covid-19 has shone a light on the care we have for one another and underlined our great culture of respect and concern for each other. And as we witness recent tragic events affecting the African American community and growing racial tensions in the United States, never has this been more important.
Discrimination of any kind has no place in our culture and our message is simple – Syngenta is a company where everyone is welcome, wBTCC比特币交易信息平台homever you are.
This time last year, we made an important commitment and signed the UN Global LGBTI Standards for Business. As a global company, we continue to be committed to creating an environment where all employees are supported and can be themselves. We also have very diverse customers and partners, and signing these Standards highlights the importance we place on fostering a culture of respect and inclusion.
June is Pride month and a good time for us to show our continued support for our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI+) colleagues in the workplace, the marketplace and in the community. Throughout June and every day, let’s celebrate our diversity and be ambassadors of our inclusion values.
And to everyone who is working to make our world more inclusive, we thank you.
Erik and Laure
